Introduction to SCORM

SCORM is one of the most famous term in the eLearning industry. It stands for Sharable Content Object Reference Model. As an eLearning professional you need to learn all the basic about this LMS standard. Courses/contents published in this standard are supported by almost all the well-known learning management systems (LMSs). It consists of a set of technical specifications and characteristics that ensure the published courses of eLearning sharing information to a learning management system. Furthermore, LMS is the place where you can learn all the basic terms related to your course published as well as can learn lots of things related to learners. For example, you can track the user progress, you can learn either your user is completing course or not, passing score, completion status and multiple other such aspects related to the course and end user. Soon SCORM became the software standard for the industry. SCORM is not the only standard, it has also some other versions like:
