How to bring charming and spicy look to your eLearning courses and add some extra attractive things into them? Well, this is quite simple, you just need a little bit of extra effort and things will look better at the end. Don’t worry this is not hard to add charming look to your contents, because as eLearning designer and/or developer it will be simplest task for you. Here are some tricks and tips that may help you to add spicy and attractive look to your contents.

Powerful Templates

Latest and advance eLearning authoring tools offer a huge collection of templates that can be used for creating and developing attractive and meaningful courses. These built in templates are designed to add additional attraction and interactivity to your curses without doing any programming effort or designing. Built in templates are available in almost every authoring tool like in Adobe Captivate, Lectora, PowerPoint and other like these.

Focus on Quality Over Quantity

As eLearning developer or designer always try to focus on quality rather than quantity. Because quality means everything to end users/learners. It can be a difficult task to eliminate some contents during development of eLearning courses but it is essential to avoid unnecessary things to avoid overwhelming a leaner. Reducing contents is helpful and beneficial and can be a help/relief for the end users. Because in quality contents you as developer or course provider ensures that there is nothing unwanted in the course provided by you. So my humble request is to cut off things which are not necessary. Means if something is not able to meet learning objectives simply remove it and don’t include in the course for the ease of users.

Include Videos

By too much text end users may get bore quickly. The perfect way to engage end users and spic up boring courses is to include a video clip in it after few pages. But keep one thing in mind that these videos should be relevant and informative. Videos are beneficial because they provide a great engagement as compare to plain text or images. Another advantage of video inclusion in posts is that it is an effective way to tell stories, share information and spread knowledge in the best possible way.

Use Challenges and Games

Using just plain text and courses will not be sufficient to engage users. If you want to make some attraction in content, you have to present some challenges and interactivity in your course and then ask for feedback to achieve specific goals. Games attract end users especially young generation in most effective way rather than just text and images.

Present Content in Story

One of the important and essential biases is that facts are always superior and related to emotions, that facts are more rational and reliable. When you combine contents like audio, video and text in one script then it will be just like a story content. Means sequence is more important than providing things randomly. Effective way to engage users is to use story based ideas and contents.
